Its a no-name but had a 3/4 hp motor v. the 1/2 hp of the name brand in the same price range. It also affords me the more clearance, 5 positions of the drivestock up to a full 180 degrees for outboard turning, and variable speeds with on the fly shifting via a lever instead of stopping the machine and switching the belt config.
